Since we came home from China last year on December 19, I am considering this Christmas to be our first together.  Neither she nor I remember much of last Christmas - jet lag...

I got a small tree this year and put it up the other night while she watched a video.  Once the lights were up, I went in and told her I had a surprise for her.  I had turned off the lights in the living room so the tree would be bright.  She said "OHHHHHH"and wanted down to explore.  I took her to the tree and showed her it was okay to touch that the lights were not hot. 

I took the pictures witrh my iphone so the quality is not the best.  The first pictures are of her exploring the tree. Check out the appropriate jammies! I then decorated it and we have had a blast touching the ornaments - some gently HA HA HAl  But they are all safe purchased so she could touch.  The nice ornaments will come several years from now! Christmas is going to be so much fun this year!  I dont have a tree topper yet so please over look that!
