Maggie "isms"
We had a good friend, one that I haven't seen in 3 years, visit us today. She brought her 3 month old daughter and it was so good to catch up. I am posting a picture of me holding Maggie and Anna. It was so good to catch up, Tammy! She also brought Maggie a little doll and a Valentine's outfit that is so precious! Thanks Tammy!
Here are some "isms" that Maggie is doing lately.
Thanks for checking in. We are doing well and getting our routine down. Now if I could just get her to sleep the whole night and Izzy not to wake up too early I would be set.
I am also starting to work on those dreaded taxes. Thank you, God, for allowing me to get an adoption credit for this year! I just squeezed that one in under the deadline.
Love,
Tricia, Maggie and Izzy

Here are some "isms" that Maggie is doing lately.
- Today we did our first somersault - Maggie loved it!
- Today we learned how to blow kisses
- She has learned how to play with one of her gifts from Santa that is a musical Ladybug. It is precious!
- Yesterday Maggie greeted me getting out of the shower with my Auburn crocs. Today she did it again and wanted me to put them on! It was really funny getting dried off with crocs on! Thanks sweet girl, but I really do need to get dressed before I put on my shoes!

Sure do miss you three...now two. Have you tried white noise to get her to sleep longer and a very dark room?
How's Ann doing? It sure is nice to be back to our home, but wish we all lived closer! Lots of love to you.

I had to stop by after I found out your name and about your daughter. We just got a referral last week.

Awww Momma, she is trying to make sure you don't slip with your wet feet. That is too adorable! That was so nice of baby Anna to color coordinate with you for the visit. Isn't it great being a member of the mom club? What a blessing for Maggie too be to meeting so many new friends and playmates. I wish I knew a magic trick for sleeping, but my two were like night and day. Macy didn't sleep and Christlyn would tell you it was time to go to bed. The only two things I can suggest is make sure her belly is full and she doesn't take a nap too late in the day, that always seemed to help mine. Other than that, just stick to your routine...repetition I think is the key to everything with children. You're doing a great job! Maggie is happy and healthy, the rest will come in time. And from experience, you really won't die from sleep deprivation, if that makes you feel any better. You and Maggie continue to be in my prayers. Hang in there Momma.
