We are okay
I'm so sorry I have not posted pics or information yet. Maggie has bad
jet lag and got overwhelmed with visitors so we have gone into
seclusion with no visitors. Sleep may get better tonight as I have
taken her out shopping with me today. The sunshine is good for her
internal click to get reset.
We are tired but doing well. Some stomach issues and a slight ear
infection put her on some antibiotics. She did NOT like going to the
doctor yesterday. Some of you in north Alabama might have heard her
screaming. This girl has some lungs!
I promise to post soon. We are having a low key Christmas here at the
house with my mom and Pete coming just for the day. The family will
all get together next week. The Decatur crew sorry but we are not
going to be there this week.
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas. I know that we will with
this very special gift from God. Thank you all for sending the

God love her! Sorry we missed you guys at the airport. Chrissy has had a high fever all week. I thought we were going to take a trip to the ER at about 3 am. I am sure that it is all overwhelming for Maggie. Everything is new, and I'm sure scary. My kids always screamed at the doctor too, so that might just be a kid thing in general. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. I can always drop something off at the door if you need anything. I know, even with all the adjustments, this will be the most memorable Christmas ever for you and your family. God couldn't have blessed a more special person, and even if she doesn't know it right now, Maggie has been given a great gift as well. I hope you guys have a very Merry Christmas and are able to get some rest and just enjoy being mother and daughter.

Tricia, I have so enjoyed your blogs everyday and the journey to get Maggie. I am so excited for both of you and have told the story to anyone who will listen. Can't wait for more pictures. Rest and you all have a Merry Christmas. Barb
