Day 8 - Kisses and Giggles A Plenty

Maggie is such a happy little girl - and so good too.  She just giggles and gives kisses all day long.  She wrinkles up her nose and smiles so big after she gives me a kiss.  She has a 100 little faces that just crack mom and me up.  I am so blessed and so happy to have to such a beautiful little girl.

Today we went to the botanical garden.  It was really pretty.  Lots of walking and just gorgeous.  The orchids were all in a large greenhouse and there were so many different kinds.

Tomorrow we will go to a typical Chinese village.  I am looking forward to this.  I'm sure it will be sad but I really want to see what Maggie's family's is like so I can answer those questions for her later.

We have met some of the nicest people while here.  We met a family from Georgia today and one from Maryland.  I love meeting all of these families and we all have so much in common.  It is nice to talk with people who understand the joy you are experiencing after waiting so long.

Mom again is invaluable!  She is my "nanny" as she calls herself.  I don't know what I will do without all her help when I get home.  But I will manage.  LOL  At least "I" can wear what I want when I get home!  LOL  She is my fashion police here - "you are not wearing that are you?"

Below are some pics from today.  Thank you for  all your comments.  They keep us going...

Amy Maze, any news on your end?  Sonya, Connie, Alicia, Emily, Mary Louise and anyone else I missed  - do you guys want to get together when I am in Decatur?  I will be there Christmas Eve day through a couple of days after Christmas.

To the family - I cannot wait until you guys meet Maggie. Enjoy the Family Christmas get together.  We will truly miss being there!  I love you all.

Tricia
