In LA
Mom and I are in LA in the worlds longest layover. Eleven hours! We
left the house at 430 am in the pouring down rain. It is beautiful
here though. I have a cousin that lives here that may join us for
dinner. We leave for Guanzhou China at 1150 pm. Looking forward to my
Ambien and sleep!
I have been asked if I am nervous. No just really excited. I feel
prepared after 5 years and know that God is all over this adoption! I
am so blessed and He is so good.
Thanks for all the comments so far. I probably will not be able to
return them individually but please know each one is read and
appreciated.
Next stop...China.

I'm so very excited for you and your Mom to share this experience. Maggie will do fine with the 2 of you, but more important with God as the head of your family. He's directed this whole adoption thus far and He's certainly not going to let you go it alone. I'm just so proud of you and your strength. Maggie is a lucky little girl, just as you are a lucky Mommy! My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you on this very exciting journey! Love ya, Ann Marie

Tricia - I have just starting following your journey. I am a fellow Hauzhou mom who has been home with her daughter for 17 months. She was 14 months old when we got her. I wish I had known you would be in LA for 11 hours - we are 45 minutes from there and I would have loved to come see you off, introduce you to another Hauzhou cutie & prayed for you! You now have my email - sing out while you are here if you need anything!

I'm following along and can't wait to hear all about your Big Meetin' Day. You are about to step through the threshold of a whole new way of life...a busy, but meaningful way of life. Enjoy!
