I received my LOA today!

After one week of waiting, I received my LOA or letter of approval from China today!  That is incredible because the average wait right now is 100 days!  Yes, that is right 100 days.  This is just one more confirmation that God is in control.  I am truly in awe...

I was already logged in to China and have already passed the review room so that is a reason why I got it sooner.  But in one week?  WOW.  So what is next?

I will now wait for 3 to 4 weeks for my TA or Travel Approval.  That may come at the end of November.  Then a couple of days later I will receive my CA or Consulate Appointment.  That is the appointment I have to be at our US Embassy to be sworn in.  That is the last day I will be in China.  I will then back up 2 1/2 weeks and that is when I fly to China.  So I could be given my CA then fly to China the next week.  Talk about hurry up and wait.  Wait 4 years and go within 2 months.

I am looking at spending Christmas in China with my daughter.  What better present could I ask for?  Please continue to pray for the plans to be ironed out and for Maggie's transition.

Love you all and I feel so blessed to have you all in my life,

Tricia

    That is great!!!

Don't let your agency rush you through the process just to make it home for Christmas. Mine did that and I could never slow down, take a breath and relax a little. Came home horribly sick from it.
