How pitiful is this?
When I started the process of adoption, I was giving the time frame of 6 to 8 months. Obviously, I was in full force during those first few months picking out nursery items, getting her daycare lined up and researching pediatricians. Little did I know then that I was still be waiting 2 years and 8 months from my LID?
Well today, I received an email from one of the daycares that I really like. Thank goodness they still have me on a list! Sweet Susan just wanted to check in with me this year to see if I am still interested and where in the process I was. How pitiful is that - Susan has had to call me every year for almost 3 years. Here's to hoping the pricing hasn't gone up too bad in those 3 years.

Wow - well this is a fantastic post - I admire your patience and determination. The adoption process is (from what I've heard) arduous but hopefully you won't have too much longer to wait now!
