OK, so Monday morning I am off to work.  Driving out of my nice quiet neighborhood and then I see police!  What is going on?  Well, I eventually learned that there was a homicide 2 blocks from me!  It happened at the main intersection of my subdivision.

What I know right now is that a young Hispanic woman in her 20's or 30's was shot in her car.  She lived a few houses down from where she was shot.  It appears to be possibly a person that knew her.  The police are saying that we are not in danger.  YIKES!

First of all, my prayers go out to this young lady's family.  I cannot imagine what they are going thru.  I pray that she knew the Lord and is now with HIM.

The police have been dragging the creek for evidence today and when I came home from work there was no sign of anything had taken place.

This is my city's first homicide of the year!  Let's hope it stays that way.
