Well a famous daughter makes for a famous mother!  On October 20, 2006, Mary Morgan from Morgan-Price Candy company, invited me to come to her shop in Decatur and participate in a book signing.  What a fun event.  Mary was hosting a holiday open house and had me set up with a table and my cookbooks to sell.  I autographed many that day and was even lucky enough to sample the homemade candies - the english toffee rocks if anyone is interested.  It is homemade and awesome!!!

The day was a lot of fun as many people that I have known for all of my life came by to get an autographed cookbook.  I also was able to meet many new people.  You know, it is amazing how many people know someone that has or is adopting from a child from China.

 

A big thank you to Mary and all the awesome ladies there!  You gals are a lot of fun and I really enjoyed my day. I have attached some pics that my mom took.
