My social worker, Anna, called today to let me know that my log in date (LID) for Maggie was July 22, 2006!  This is awesome news.  This is the date from which everything begins for my journey to Maggie.

 

Right now the wait for a referral (Maggie) is at 1 year.  So I ask for prayer that this wait will at least stay the same or speed up!  There is talk that it could go to 18 months for the wait.

 

Some friends got their referral yesterday for their little girl.  They were LID 7/13/2005 so their wait was 1 year.  She is the cutest little girl with big eyes and a round face.  Cheeks that you just want to kiss all over!!!!  Aliana will be her name and I believe she is right around 9 months old.  Congratulations Becca, David, Hannah and Kyle!  I pray for a speedy travel approval (TA).

 

One of the reasons while I am so excited about my LID is that if China decides to do away with singles adopting or change their adoption process in any way, they will most likely grandfather the current LIDs in.

 

Please continue to pray for Maggie, her birth parents and the orphanage and nannies that will take care of her until I can get to her.  Maggie, momma is coming as soon as I can.  I love you.....
