Ok, I am finally back to my Blog!  Sorry for all the blank months but I just didn't have much to say and I was really frustrated with the wait.

 

I am now officially DTC as of July 7, 2006.  I am over my paperwork pregnancy.  And it was a long one..... That means that all my paperwork was sent to China to be input into their system.  When they input my data, they will give me a Log In Date (LID).  That is when the official wait begins.

 

During the long absence from my Blog, I have learned that the wait has increased from 9 months to 1 year for a referral after your LID.  The wait could easily change, and they predict that it might change to 16- 18 months.  Hence the depression!!!!

 

I've really had some heart to hearts with God over this and I know that HE is in control and that when the time is right, he will unite Maggie and me.

 

I continue to pray for her mother and the hard decision she will have to give her up!  I pray for Maggie's days in the orphanage or foster care.  I pray that God will surround her with His angels.

 

Financially, things are going pretty well.  My cookbooks came in and thanks to my mom (she sold most of them) we are on our 2nd batch of 400 cookbooks.  Thank you to all of Decatur, Alabama that is buying them left and right!  I really appreciate all of your support and encouragement.  There still is alot of money left to raise but every bit counts.  If you would like a cookbook, please email to at triciaandmaggie@charter.net.  They are $10 each and make great teacher and family gifts.

 

My friend DeEtte came home with her daughter from China a month ago or so.  Her little one is absolutely beautiful.  I have loved spending time with them and getting those precious hugs and kisses that only a child can give!

 

Hopefully, I will continue to update my blog regularly.  I am meeting a lot of people along the way and am developing some life long friendships in the process.  Keep praying.....
