Another Dept of Health Visit

If it wasn't scary enough the first time, I had to go again!  I got my results back from my HIV test and now needed to get it stated in a letter for my doctor.

Off I go again to the Jefferson County Department of Health.  They put me in that same room again with all of these people.  This time it was more exciting.  I had a "high" prostitute on my right and a lady across from me talking to her friends about having syphillus or herpes, they weren't quite sure.

I was so scared that I was going to catch something just breathing!!!    Have you ever wanted to take one of those toilet seat covers with you everywhere?  If so, this is one place that you want too.  I had my hand sanitizer with me and used it many times.  Finally, I received my letter and then it was off to the doctor again.

I have decided that this is my "labor" for Maggie!  Don't they ever give out epidurals?  I had to have one more test, a Hepatitis screening.  My doctor's office performed the test and now it is up to my doctor to get all of my data written down on the form, sign it and have her signature notarized.

I meet with Anna, social worker, tomorrow.  I have everything I need except for my updated passport, extra passport photos, medical form, CIS approval (next thing to send off for), and homestudy (almost done). Then I wait on my appt for my FBI fingerprints.  Once those are approved, CIS will approve me to bring a child into the United States for adoption.  I will then go to the Jefferson County Courthouse to get all the notarized documents certified stating that my notary is in fact a notary in Jefferson County.  Then it is off to Montgomery and get each document certified there that my notary is a notary in Jefferson County and that Jefferson County is a county in Alabama.  Next the documents are sent to Houston so that they can authenticate them that yes in fact Alabama is a state in the USA.   Thanks for reading!  Stay tuned....
Love,

Tricia
