WHEW - I passed!  The tour of the house was simple compared the questions Anna asked me today.  I have never thought of some of those questions?  Today's topic was discipline.  The answers depended so much on the age of Maggie when the offense occurred.  Anna never looked like she was shocked so I guess I did okay.  My background in counseling (those several courses I took for my Masters) was very helpful.  I must say that my nephews helped alot in this conversation as well.  Some examples of the questions were:

 

What would you do if your daughter was angry?

How can you keep your daughter from being a bully?

What characteristics would you like in your daughter?

How values would you like in your daughter?

How will you teach these values to your daughter?

 

Have I ever been a victim of child abuse?

Have I ever abused a child?

Have I ever been arrested?

Do I know what being arrested means?  (Crazy but some people don't realized if they have been fingerprinted and taken to jail that they are being arrested?  Go figure)

 

Izzy was awesome as well.  She actually listened to me when I told her to get down.  I finally had to put her outside because she was wanting to play too much.  She was so pitiful right outside her doggie door that I had locked just taking one paw and scraping the door trying to get in while crying.  It nearly killed us both!  Oh what a shock for her to come with Maggie!
