Well, it has officially started! YIKES!!!!! I had my first home study meeting yesterday (Monday). I was really nervous but it went well. My social worker (SW) is Anna at Lifeline Children's Services in Cahaba Heights. I really like her and we hit it off personally.

Anna gave me a paperchase notebook and it contains everything I need to do and know about adopting Maggie. It is a little overwhelming but on good advice I have decided to take it one section at a time. Anna mentioned that this is the only phase of adoption that I can control with the time. I guess patience is going to be my new prayer word for the year!

I ask that you all please pray for me and Maggie. Chances are that Maggie is not even born yet. How weird is that? I ask for prayer for her mother's health during pregnancy, for my guidance for God's will for my life, for financial support, and for Patience!
